• Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) Testing

  • Lourdes Academy Elementary and Middle School utilizes the Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) testing. The computer-based examinations are administered semi-annually, once in the fall and again in the spring, to accomplish the following:

    • to give students and their parents an opportunity to see how students perform in comparison with other students in the nation
    • to assist teachers in individualizing and differentiating their instruction
    • to help identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in the curriculum
    • to help students develop a realistic self-concept in terms of their achievements, aptitude, and interests

Further explanation of MAP testing is available at the founding organizations' website: NWEA
