We acknowledge the role of families in Catholic education and celebrate their contributions to the success of our schools during Catholic Schools Week, and all year long.

We benefit all year long from the religious guidance, prayers and support provided by our parishes. Join us at Sunday Mass as our students and families thank parishioners by hosting special doughnut and coffee fellowship gatherings after Mass. 

A central aspect of Catholic education is learning the importance of service to others. When students take part in service activities they demonstrate the values and faith gained through Catholic education.

Lourdes Academy students are coordinating the Life is Beautiful Campaign as a way to learn first hand about the needs in our community and how students can be empowered to take action and do something to address the need. 

Help support the Life is Beautiful Hygiene Drive, benefiting the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry. Items being collected include: 

• shampoo
• conditioner
• soap & body wash
• toothbrushes & toothpaste
• feminine hygeine products

Items can be dropped off at Lourdes Academy school sites and all Oshkosh Catholic parish locations.

On National Appreciation Day for Catholic Schools, our students, families, educators and other Catholic school supporters celebrate the value of Catholic education, and the option of School Choice. 

School Choice is the process of allowing every family the ability to choose the K-12 educational options that best fit their children. Lourdes Academy participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), which allows eligible students who reside in Wisconsin to attend our school tuition-free.

WPCP applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted February 1, 2020 - April 20, 2020.

Novena & Marian Consecration 

In honor of our school's patron saint, Our Lady of Lourdes, we will start praying a novena - nine school days of prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes. The novena will culminate on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Tuesday, February 11 with a special all-school Mass at the high school/middle school to consecrate the school to Mary.

The winner of the Door County Winter Getaway Raffle will also be drawn.  

 

Our teachers are the backbone of our school. Today we honor our teachers, as well as administrators and staff who support teachers in their important work. We also thank all our parents, grandparents, alumni, and supporters who provide volunteer service.
