Middle School Track & Field

                                            Welcome to the 2023 season!                                                    1st Day - Monday, March 27  3:15-4:30pm

Week 1:     
We will have indoor practice on Monday.
Change clothing in bathrooms or wellness center locker rooms. 
Backpacks and bags will be kept in the athletic hallway. 
All athletes are to be in the Castle ready to go by 3:15!
Pick Up from Practice - Circle Drive 4:30pm

Monday, March 27:  Practice 3:15-4:30
Tuesday, March 28: Practice 3:15-4:30
Wednesday, March 29: NO Practice
Thursday, March 30: Practice 3:15-4:30

Order of Events:

Field:  Long Jump, Triple Jump (some meets), High Jump, Shot Put, Discus (All will start earlier than running events gender will switch after last participant finished.

Running: 100meter Hurdles, 100meter Dash, 1600meter run, 4x200meter relay, 400meter dash, 4x100meter relay, 800meter run, 200meter dash, 4x400meter relay (generally girls first then boys)

Pack for Practice: Clothing for inside or outside (T-shirt, shorts, sweatshirt, sweatpants, socks, athletic shoes, water bottle, masks/buff for indoors)

Change/belongings: QUICKLY change in Wellness Center Locker Rooms or bathrooms, put belongings in athletic hallway, GO TO Fortress / Castle FOR ACTIVE WARM UP
